Qingdao Expat Group is a community for expats, by expats. It continues to grow witheach passing year and is currently represented by members, accompanying spouses and children from 56 countries! We aim to create a mutual understanding of Chinese and Western cultures and also hope to help new Expats arriving in Qingdao to settle in more comfortably by frequently organising events such as balls and dances, dinners..

Charity >> What We Do >> Hospitals
The Mission of the Expat Charity Committee is to assist in partial payments (i.e. 10,000rmb per child/patient) to help needy young children receive lifesaving heart surgeries at the Qingdao Children’s Hospital and Qingdao University Hospital. The full cost for a baby’s heart surgery may range from 20,000-50,000rmb. In 2008, the Expat Charity Committee was able to assist with 7 children’s heart surgeries and in 2009 it was 2 children, 2010 saw us starting to support 2 new needy children with their medical costs.
