The 86-strong Qingdao Opera Troupe, who have performed from the UK to Japan, will be putting their fantastic skills on display this month, in a special performance for local expats. The troupe perform a number of plays, notable recent examples include Cuckoo Mountain, the post-war propaganda story of a struggle between factions in Hunan Province. The performance will take place at their exclusive opera hall on Wine Street and include a lesson in stage make-up for anyone interested.
